New Paypal kinda thing!

Hey CPFer's,
My buddies just told me about this greenzap thing...to what i hear, its kind of like paypal, and they're doing referals. If you sign up under my referal, you will receive 25 dollars instantly in your webaccount...i dunno if its worth it or not, or if its any good, but from what i can tell, theres not much to lose!

I don't think I would jump on that too fast.

They are not super secure. They are using the directnic name srvers; they don't have their own. I've found it simple to talk directnic into giving you the access to an account. The ip address for their mail relay is not properly configured, so the address reverse lookup fails. In short, they do not appear to be a real big business and are not yet set up correctly.

The 'storez' don't actually say which one's will accept their script as payment, but does list some big names (like amazon and target) as "affiliates".


For these reasons, I would not give them any personal information.

yeah, thats true. I gave them my PO box...but bank account and credit card...i would never give that to them.

Do a google search for 'greenzap' and 'scam' and decide for yourself... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon6.gif

Discussion of the subject is okay. Sending people to a site with a referral code is spamming, regardless of intent.
