Here goes /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I would like to replace the led in my photon II with a slow flashing led. How fast/slow do those cheap flashing leds at radio shack flash? I would like to get one to flash slowly. Once every 2-5 seconds.
And yes, I already have a few photon III's. I basicly want to duplicate the slow flash of the photon III but with a simple on/off switch. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Keep in mind that the self-flashing LEDs will be significantally less intense than the LED in the Photon, because the self-flashing LED has a resistor built in to limit its current to ~20mA during its "on" cycle.

I thought I had a flashing LED from Radio Shack handy; but apparently I do not.
Figure them to have a flash rate of 1Hz to 2.5Hz (1 to 2.5 flashes per second) - this is considerably faster than what you want.
