What is it with switches from the Western Pacific?

I did a switch inventory of all my lights. Here's the finding. Every light I own, that has a monentary function, which was produced in the Western Pacific has momentary OFF. All the lights I have from anywhere else in the world have momentary ON.

I don't know of a single person who has use for momentary OFF. Does anyone know why Asian manufacturers think differently from manufactures in the rest of the world?

Good question, Jim! I suspect all switch-action patents expired close to a century ago. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif (Double clicking may still be an issue. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crackup.gif )
