In a chinese flashlight forum, one man called Phoenix empolder a stainless steel LED flashlight ---- Fenix L1+
There are some presentations about it:

1\Battery: 1 AA (Alkaline or Ni-Cd, Ni-Mh )
2\Input: 0.9--1.5V
3\Power: about 30 Lumen (1W)
4\LED: Luxeon 1W White emitter
5\Dimension : 20mm(D) 93mm(L)
6\Time: about 3 hrs. high output and 6 hrs. run time with 1 AA

I'd be interested providing the LED is a true Lumileds Luxeon I with atleast a Q brightness bin.

Guys, if you look at the pictures closely, you'll see that that it is a longbow clone. A stretched version of a LB mini.

I guess I don't see the Longbow Micra'ishness of the L1. And the innards must be different to run on one AA...

Hi, every one. Thanks for attention this message. Actually, it's a total new product. Many people discuss it for nearly 4 month, and spend another 4 month form planning to finishing. The price of L1+ is 220RMB($27), but the first batch have sold out soon. I don't know when it'll begin to sell again.

Beautiful host for a 14500 Li-Ion direct drive /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buttrock.gif. Except for the stainless steel thermal capabilities.

Probably made in the same factory as the Longbow? $27 is good price for a stainless steel light with a boost converter. I bet it feels chunky and solid too. Where's the line?
