The upcoming K2 "S" bin is highly anticipated ... as are the upper-bin Jupiter LEDs from Nichia. Cree's XLamp in N & P flux bins are also nice.
I've compiled all sorts of spec sheet data in the "LED DB" in my signature. I find the "lm/watt" (lumens per watt) most interesting since it tells the real story on efficiency.
Here's a highlight of Lumileds' product line. Note the efficiency hits as current ramps up. "T" bin gives you a linear increase (50% more current == 50% more light). "V" bin is perverse - 50% more current == <15% more light.
Maybe Newbie will drop in and point us to a datasheet for the Toyoda-Gosei UV die+phosphor LED. I've yet to locate one, but I suspect that LEDs mimicing florescent will be the way to go in the future.
