Wireless options for Panasonic Toughbook 07

I just bought the processor unit of a Panasonic Toughbook 07, and now am trying to decide what type of wifi card to put in to get wireless Internet access. There is one type II PC card slot available for this. The Panasonic website states that CDPD, DataTAC or Mobitex networks can be used, but a quick check shows that these networks are not so popular as GPRS. I need some advice as to what type and brand of wifi card to install. By the way: it should allow me to access wireless net in Southeast Asia, Australia and the Pacific Rim in general. To computer buffs out there: any ideas? Thank you.
