Is anyone into radio controlled model aircraft?

I am considering RC aircraft as a hobby. The little electric models only run for about five minutes. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif

Can anyone tell me how reliable/expensive/fun-to-fly the gas models are? Is there a good forum, or a decent FAQ I can read?

You can get a gas trainer ready to fly for around $500 with radio and everything if i remember correctly. I think they are easier to fly since you have more power to get your out of trouble. Best place to ask though would be a local hobby shop.
