ice water actually has a REALLY tiny amount a negative calories, but not enough to worry about

Yes, I've heard that it would take a swimming pool worth of ice water to make even a tiny dent in one's caloric intake.

Thanks for clarifying that, RH. I knew that it had to do with the body's metabolic reaction to the cold liquid, but you said it much more clearly than I did.

tap water has zero calorie. It has fluoride for cavity prevention.
