Has anyone yet implemented this menu system?

Back in early June 2004, I mentioned some concept ideas for a simple UI, that would be for a menu driven flashlight as seen here:

That would be very simple indeed, and retain the whole range of brightness options.

Double clicking puts you into secondary.


Either that, or, it only changes the one you are currently in, and you have to double click to switch to the other mode, then press and hold, ramp to the brightness you want, release, bingo stored.

FYI, imho, a crisper switch would make the current method alot more acceptable.

Curious, I don't follow the menu options on current lights. Has anyone implemented my idea, or something similar to this yet?

I'm using a similar UI on my uCF. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I haven't updated the thread yet but the latest UI that I'm using has 2 custom brightness setting, selectable through single/double clicks and full brightness on the third.
