E2D Tail Cap Question

I am looking at the holes in the "wings" that protect the switch of my E2D tail cap. Two of these holes appear to be threaded. What is the purpose of these threads? Is there some forthcoming accessory that will screw into these threads?

You are correct, they are threaded so that something can be screwed into them. At this point I don't believe SureFire has any plans for it's own accessories, but, here on CPF some people have made use of the threaded hole
