Here's a question for the Surefire and electronics experts: Is there a simple way, e.g. by changing the value of one or more resistors on the PCB, to change the converter output current and adjust the brightness levels in both the low and high setting? Any suggestions/advices are welcome.

The "low" can be changed by changing the resistor in the tailcap. I haven't done this, but I think Chop or McGizmo and a few others can.

I don't know of anyone that has changed the "high" setting. This would require changing the circuit, which is in the body of the L1,L2,A2.

McGizmo has bored the circuit out a few L1s in the process of converting them to 2 cell lights. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinser2.gif
