LED and Boost Convertor Help...

I need some help with an LED color and driver choice. I have decided on a Luxeon Star 1W highdome LED. I want something different for when I'm out in the woods coon hunting with my father-in-law. I don't want a white or a red light. I was thinking about a royal blue one. I want something that is nice and bright, but won't destroy my night vision. Also, what Boost Convertor would be a good choice? It would be driven by a single CR2 cell in a moded E1E. Thank you for any help that can be offered!
