Anyone active duty USN here? *Update*

Then you will know what I'm talking about.

I went through NTC/RTC in 1996 and I've been looking all over hell and back for a standard issue USN Utility Jacket. I don't know why it's so hard to find....

None of the Army/Navy surplus sites have anything close to what I'm looking for..and I am no longer active, so I'm looking to find someone who can either get me one (I'll pay for it, of course) or tell me the best possible place to find one. I've been to the NEX site but it seems the site is down...so I can't shop there...

Can anyone help/suggest anything?

Naw...it was black. I seem to remember it having a zipper as well as velcro to close the front...but if they discontinued that style...no wonder it's so hard to find. It was such a nice jacket too.....

Well...large..but I'm really looking for the black one. I've tried searching so many different combinations of searches to try and get a picture or something of that year's jacket issue...but not having any luck.

the officers don't have a utility jacket, they have a black working/dress jacket. the one pictured above forsale on ebay is probably what he's looking for.

I have a deal for you, I'll bid on it, pay and arrange shipment directly to you. Once you have it simply donate the cost of the jacket to the CPF upkeep fund (I believe Sasha accepts cheques and money orders if Paypal is not available)

15-20 bucks...it's listed at $14.25 (new to ebay, not sure if there's a reserve) but I figured since there were no bids on it I would've bid $16 and see what happens. It's not looking like it's too hot of an item, so I'd probably win....
