I've got one of these limited edition lights on the way and was wondering if you can use rechargeables in the light?
Thanks! Dave

Before my 'bird' got an upgraded brain transplant I ran the light on a Pila 168S cell. I still have the Pelican/BatteryStation Lux III module that I will probably put in a Pelican Lux I M6 light.

Pila 168S rechargeable cells will work. JSBurly 3.0V rechargeable cells also work in the light.

According to Kevin of Battery Station in this thread, his 4.2 volt Li-Ions don't do so well in this light. The current draw seems to make them unhappy. I haven't tried it, just using regular lithiums.
