Should I control my USB Light?

Hi all,
I just tested my USB light with a lable top.
The light is enough, but lets compare.

Before i plug in the USB Light

The USB Light On

Compare my DIY Keychain

Should I just connect the LED with USB directly ?
it will be as bright as the Keychain
But the life time may decrease.
Which i way i better go? life time or POWER?

Also i have some stock for sell $9 USD each
