Sad news today... I went to work on my yard and couldn't find my blower.

I check my security camera and I found captured video of some dude
walking right right into my garage and STEALS it at NOONTIME!

I'm calling the police tommorrow... it's too late tonight.

I just glad my wife and kid are safe.

Post his picture prominently where everyone can see it. A bulletin board in a public place would be a nice place for a picture. Put a label on the picture that says the picture is posted on the Internet and put a link to the movie under his picture. I wonder if anyone would recognize him? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

They may not be able to show up right away, but the sooner they see the video, the sooner they may discover some additional charges to file on this guy if they have caught him somewhere else tonight already.

I would ask all my neighbors if they have ever seen him. If not, I would plaster his picture all over the neighborhood with a title of "THEIEF", stop at the mall and do the same thing. I might put some sort of "ad" in the local paper.
Give pictures to everybody you know. Somebody will find him.

Just by coincidence, a couple of days ago, some €~#@€ lowlife stole my bike from outside my apartment. It was locked (thick Kripto-cable), but they sliced right through it. The irony of it is that the night before I had walked around our complex distributing flyers warning residents of bike thefts in our area... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif Wish I had a camera setup like yours!

I thought I might throw a word of caution about posting the pic of the crook in public. There *might* be some law or ordinance against it, and the strategy might backfire. Best to ask the police about it. I wouldn't wanna see you in trouble, regardless of how right you may be (there are some weird-a**ed rules out there). I mention that 'cuz we had a minor theft 'round here a couple of years ago, and we were strongly discouraged by the police to post flyers around the block.
