power ON#1 -> low brightness
This brightness is settable by the user.
power OFF

power ON#1, OFF, ON#2 -> high brightness
This is max brightness.
power OFF

power ON#1, OFF, ON#2, OFF, ON#3 -> low brightness setting mode
After a short flick of light followed by short delay, the brightness goes up from min to max and down from max to min repeatedly.
power OFF
The last brightness before power OFF is now set as the new low brightness level.

power ON#1 -> low brightness
The new low brightness is the same brightness before power OFF during the brightness setting mode.
power OFF

power ON#1, OFF, ON#2, OFF, ON#3, OFF, ON#4 -> strobe mode
It may appear very irregular strobe, but it is not. There are many missing flash frame due to the frame rate conversion and the short pulse duration of strobe.

do these fit a standard 2aa minimag and function with the twisty head?

Mr. Blue, Yes the POP2 sammie will fit a regular 2aa Minimag



As far as the twisty action I can set you up with:

Low (min) -> med (user) -> high (max) -> strobe -> sos

i.e: no level setting then you can use the standard tail cap that came in with your MM and twist the head to activate the light

The POP2 v2.31 has PS73601 which us the highest and TWOH luxeon wit even lower Vf.

How to control the light - video

This time, I have audio recorded and you can hear the "click" sound of the kroll switch. I press the switch at a slower speed than I usually do in real action.

POP2GX V2.37 which is comming out very soon I'd say within days.
Combined with a TWOH or TXOH or TYOH, I think its the best POP2 to date.
