Congrats to SureFire -- Army Contract Award!!!

SureFire just got awarded a nice contract order from the US Army for 300 X200A Weaponlights and 300 MR11 Beretta Rail interfaces. There was some other of the normal stuff on the contract as well, but the bulk was the X200A's and MR11's.

EDIT: I forgot to mention... the army buys SF123 batteries at $15/dozen just like the rest of us! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I'm a little perturbed they're paying that price for the batteries. In the quantities, they'd be purchasing I guess a volume discount would be too much to ask for the home of the $600 toilet seat.

With the discount (well below dealer cost) they are getting on the X200's, it's still good. There's not too much room to move with the batt's.
