They are a new company, well, I hope company, so the lights will be around for a while! Which means they have new stuff in the works, details yet aren't avalible I guess..

The L2 is just 2AA version of the L1 I guess. So it's probably A) longer runtime, or B) brighter output/drive level.

Ok, so it's same runtime as an L1 but instead it runs the Luxeon at more current, giving you more light. I bet the premium must have a luxeonIII in it T bin or something running at ~600ma... hmm.
