Strion...I\'d like to see a new SF-like tailcap

I use the momentary a lot on this light and it gets tough holding it down (~10 seconds) with the button recessed into the body. Ok, it's not intended for this, that's why it's called momentary. But that's what I do. I'd love to see Streamlight or someone else make a tailcap just like the SF6P or similar. One that sticks out, rubber coated, has a lockout and is easy to keep depressed. Just wishing out loud.

I don't have a Strion, but by NF-2 isn't hard to keep depressed for long...for that matter I can twist the tailcap and lock it on. Granted, the NF-2 tailcap probably won't fit on the Strion...Oh, well.

If it 'sticks out' will the flashlight still be able to stand on its tail end?

No. For me, that's no a concern. Others it might be.

Yeah, SL should do a Strion II that has more aggressive knurling and a clickie tailcap. I sold mine because of the grip and the tailcap. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
