Energizer LEDs for Katrina victims

I am moving them to the B/S/T forum as a hurricane relief sale. This offer is closed. Thanks to all.

Are there any CPF members in or near the areas affected by Katrina I could send 8 Energizer 4AA LED lanterns to?

I have 8 new ones I'll send to someone down there who could use them or pass them out. They are not blindingly bright but are useful as night lights. With 2 5mm LEDs in them they have a good run time and are safer than using candles. And about as bright.
I will send them Priority mail if you PM me your address.

I don't want any money for them. All I ask is that anyone who takes them can get them to people who could really use them.

Would a relief organization, Red Cross, etc. take them? That is a nice offer.

I know they are asking for money - perhaps you could put them up as a prize in the current Katrina Relief Fund Raffle? That may be the quickest way to help?

Sell them and donate the money?

I've got revolvergeek's address (lives in Baton Rouge, La). He works for the LA Sheriff's department. If you sent them to him, I would think that Danny would make sure they were given to someone who could use them?
