My wife and I were blessed with our second child:

Weight: 7 pounds and 12 ounces
Length: 20.5 inches long
Condition: Healthy !!!

(...and then they grow up soooo fast - our "1st" just started college this week! Seems like it was just days ago, we held him in our arms just as your new son is being held by his grandmother!)

Maybe just the way it looks in the photo. In "real" life he looks fairly normal size for a newborn
