Both of these switches are ckicky switches which fit 6P, 9P, and others.

I can't find a picture of them on the SureFire site to compare them. (Their websie really sucks, IMHO :sick2:)

I have seen a picture of a Z48 (HA, instead of black) here on CPF, and it looked quite large, adding at least an inch to the length of a 6P.

Is the Z59 more compact?

Does anyone have both, and could you kindly post a picture? I'm thinking of getting a clicky for my old 6P with a BOG 3W drop in, but the Z49 is waaay too big.
:thanks:

The 59 is a direct, looks just like the one that comes with the lights, clickie t/c. The 49 is slightly bigger in diameter and has a rubber grommet that protects the clickie part of the tail cap. 49/59's are black and 48/58's are the HA color.

I do like the 49 cap, as you can use it to stand the light up, to use it as a candle, or light up the ceiling of a room without having to hold it.

Hopefully this photo helps show the differences?

Size15's: Thanks much for the pictures! The Z59 looks like a good replacement for the original switch on my 6P; it's not much bigger at all, unlike the Z49!
:thanks:
