I don't know of anybody whos life was changed by the Patriot Act, although I suspect that it probably changed the life of a few would be terrorists.

on average, it didnt change our lives DIRECTLY.

But we have all given up a few small freedoms,
and burdened our lives somewhat.

More red tape laws were written.
ALOT of $$$ is being put toward "homeland security". which is being used as an excuse now to get funding and write new laws.

Tighter security in places like airports, which only seem to slow things down, and cost more $$$, You can still sneek things onto planes, or cuase harm to ppl on planes.

The Patriot act,
heh, what a great excuse that was to through every privacy law we had right out the window.

Oh,,,, and lets not for get Iraq. :ironic:

Have I cahnged any of my daily activities from all this? NO
Have I seen its effects on our country, and others? YES
