Ok folks, here are some comparison beamshots.

Lioncub UWOK on the left.
Q3 with the old Lioncub TXOJ right at 1.55 amps.
Both lights are direct drive off of MP brand 700mah r123 3.7 volt batteries fully charged.

Lioncub UWOK on the left side of desk, Q3 TXOJ on the right with so20's and no lenses or heads for a fair fight.

Above my desk on ceiling 15 feet up is Lioncub UWOK left and Q3 TXOJ run as pictured on my desk
with no lenses or heads, just the so20 reflectors.

Lioncub UWOK and a TV1L lightly resistored 4c magmod.

Lioncub UWOK and 4c margarine tinted TV1L with heads removed.
TV1L at 1 amp confirmed just like I designed it to do.

.

Beamshot of the two with heads back on.
Note the much brighter sidespill of the Lioncub UWOK as it is kickin' Butt!

Lioncub on the right finally losing to a bigger 4x3 TWOJ magmod left.
But not as badly as one would expect considering the 4x3's 4 amp draw.

Folks, the Ubins are for real this time. Go and get yourselves some. :)

Everyone is commenting on the UW0K's. What about the UY0K's?

You know if I had $$ I'd do 4 UxxK's on a copper HS magmod....

FYI this little kitty has indeed been promoted from backup flashlight to a miniquad, up to my primary light now. :)
It's lighting up treetops, flowerbeds, and all the way up to the top of the 15th floor outside the building, like very few other pocketlights actually can.
Idunno what the actual lumens are, but they are definitely 100+ out the business end at over 1 amp off of an r123 battery.
