I just got a Diamond DB-3W for a 3 D mag and an UCL. I was really impressed how much the UCL got rid of the ugly rings and artifacts in the beam but I still can't completely get rid of the black hole in the middle of the hot-spot (even on narrow focus on trees about 100 feet away) I tried a UCL-LDF and that really got rid of the artifacts and the black hole is pretty much gone, but so is most of the light's throw. Has anybody seen an optic (like Electrolumens uses in his single led lights) that woul work with this combination ? Or should I just slap that UCL-LDF back in and get LED Beam's 3C or one of Electrolumens 3D 3 watt lights for distance spotting ? (I prefer to stick with D/C cell lights right now I'll get a 5 watt lithium eventually.
