I had a chance to talk tonite by telephone with Rick and PM with Chop.
Considering the circumstances, both are in amazing spirits and plugging away.
Ricks home had some water damage in a section, but much less than most around him. He is back in the house and has water, sewer, power, (and obviously telephone) but no internet connection.
Chop, as he notes, has quite a bit more flood and water damage.
What amazed me is that both of them sounded like they were putting their lives back together and planning on getting things straightened out in the near future. Both of them have spent HUGE amounts of time helping out others, both physically and materially, and have demonstrated the best that comes from a disaster like Katrina!
