How is the tint? Is there any green in the beam? How does it compare to the L4 or L5?

Not a commercial product.
Made by one of our European CPFers but I can't find his handle at the moment.

Tint is nicely white with the slightest tinge of yellow when compared with some of my nicer 3-watters.
My only other 5-watt is my L4 and compared to that, it's the L4 that looks greenish.

Available once again.

Here's a beamshot at 8' using a borrowed 9Z as a host:

In the 9Z the bezel got noticeably warm but I was still able to touch it to the inside of my elbow after 1 minute.
Down by the grip ring I noticed no heat worth mentioning.

Still $45.
