I have been using the Thunderbird Email client from Mozilla.

I like it alot,
but I would like to have some nice smilies for it.
It only has a very few plain ones.

Anyone added any to it?

Thanks

I haven't used an email client in a long time (netscape 2.0!) but I'd imagine there would be an "extention" somewhere...

I've been wondering about Thunderbird for a while now.
How'd you like it? Does it have a calendar? I sync my PDA with our Exchange Server and would like to be able to do this too. I actually migrated from Eudora a couple of years ago 'cuz I couldn't stand keeping my e-mail, addy's, and calendar in separate softwares.

Anyway, sorry I can't help you with your question, but could you help me with mine? :)
Thanks!

I felt bad, and checked their site. Couldn't find smilies for you, but found out the Calendar is a plug-in, not working for everybody, and from what I gathered, can't sync yet. Bummer! I'll keep waiting.

Ive looked over thier site for smilies also,
didnt find much at all :(

Is there a way to get a smilie to display in an email, FROM the web?
Like a way to hotlink it?
There are some sites used for that.

Well I'm sure you could insert HTML pointing to an image stored on your website/photo hosting place.
Code:
<img src="http://www.blah.com/smile54.gif">
