Hi all

After a few months of lurking in these excellent forums I'm finally registered and posting.

Has anyone had any experience with scuba diving laser pointers ?

ie.... h**p://www.betalaser.com/scuba-green.jpg

They are <5mw and 532 or 635nm.

Just wondering if they are suitable for modding/tweaking, if not then they look like a great host for a Leadlight module with increased battery life (2xAA) and good heatsink properties with the aluminium body.

I've done a forum search but found nothing. Does anyone have any thoughts ?

Cheers

I didn't think laser pointers needed scuba, since they are so good at holding their breath.  :nana:

LoL, AESOP, I guess thats a fableous joke !:ohgeez:

Snorkels aside, I'm thinking an Aixiz 100mw 650nm module would be a great mod for some hand held fun.

Sim-0 ... there was a thread about scuba lasers not long ago IIRC ... you might wanna look back in this forum as the search engine isn't up to speed yet on the new software.
