That 32 LED was my first LED mag conversion. It is not very bright for outdoor usage but great for around the house ie: dark closets, garage, attic, etc. The run-time is incredible. If you use Energizer max or e2 D batteries the runtime will be several hundred hours. I would highly recommend it for a power outage situation.

I have both a 20 and a 32 LED drop-in bulb retrofit for 4 cell Mags. Just as john2551 said, they aren't the greatest for outdoor use, but adequate for sure. It's a flood beam, with not too much throw. I tested one of them, and it ran for over 3 weeks constant. Yeah, it was gradually dimming, but still very usable after many many hours. It's a great power outage light. I recommend them.

Hey thanks guys. The primary use of this light would be for a power outage situation or all night light source. Sounds like I'll give it a try.
