I am working on , and often do, projects that use velcro, or snaps, and elastic.
and i came apon a micro brainstorm :drunk: oh wait mabey it was a drunkin binge instead :)

i sometimes attach velcro TO elastic, and there are many products in existance that use velcro "Connecting" ends on elastic.
BUT
i have never seen (to date) Velcro that WAS elastic.
and by its nature it could be made that way, a stretchy fabric with hooks and loops weaved into it.

Has anyone ever seen such an item?
if not, did you want to run out and grab the patent :)
if so, anybody know what its called, and/or where to get it?

Off to the patent office.... Thanks!

Due to the very nature of how velcro works - it won't work. At least it won't work well.

right , a few design conciderations would be in order to get the hooks side to hold onto a flexable piece too.
but then there is JUST making the loops fabric part of it flexable, and still having a nonfelx connecting hooks section.
it sure beats loosing all the elasticity down the entire length that the connecting strip is in.
