would a pila 3.7V rechargeable battery work with the luxeon V LED in this

if it fits what would the brightness, and run time compare to the regular lithiums?

well we won't know for sure unless we test it... but my Surefire L2 that is a 5 watt LED using a li-ion is said to get around 80% of full output... its cranking 8900 overall lux off of its review from flashlightreviews.com... i would expect it to do pretty dang well... maybe not full output but close... but this is just my theory.

yea on that page the pila only gave 60% brightness of the lithiums. wasted potential if you ask me.....what bout putting two rechargeable 3.7V 123A's? would that fry the LED?
