The River Rock .5w needed a better grip and also a tailstand capability. I turned a shoulder in the tapered portion and added an outer shell. The original tailcap does not leave a lot to material to work with so the shell is a bit thin to maintain the same diameter as the head. It is a light press fit over the original. A finer pitch knurl would have been better but this is the only diamond pattern I had available.
