I'm looking for a 3 watt LED flashlight with these features :
- black color
- Luxeon 3 watt LED (no clone!)
- tactical switch (tailcap switch)
- powered by 2 pieces of CR123 batteries
- reasonable price (no Surefire and other very expensive brands)

Can you guys help me out? Thank you :)

Erasmus.

I think the Streamlight Scorpion has an LED version.

edit: Oops. That's a 1-W LED.

I think I'd go for the SureFire G2 at $35 and get the Bugout Gear drop-in module later.

Take a look at the Nuwai ALX-032L...3w...three output levels on 2x123 batteries. No tail cap switch though...push button up by the bezel. Current price is about $40!

Why black? If you don't mind OD, than I'd reccomend PM6 3W.

the new "tactical" nuwai Q3 meets all criteria, expect it only eats ONE cr123a, but it will take RCR123a's.

I'd hafta second the Pentagonlight L2 (black)...AWESOME light! Not really cheap ($79.00 plus shipping from www.pentagonlight.com ), but not as expensive as a SF either...and the quality is DEFINITELY in the same league as SF!

I've got the Brinkmann Maxfire (16.99 @ Target) and added the BOG 3W module in it. Runs great on 2x123 batts or you can drop in rechargable 123's.
It already has a tailcap clickie.

An excellent all-around, all-purpose, good-runtime light.

isn´t a clickie but this can fail.
Important for non Premium Flashlights.

Which of these will run two rechargeables?

Which rechargeables would work?

Not sure on the rechargeables. but if $68 shipped isn't too much to spend, as mentioned, you need to consider the PentagonLight L2 from highmarketgoods.

Thank you for your replies :) I will check all lights that have been mentioned in this thread.

Any other suggestions? :)
