After having some close calls on losing my EDC Surefire clipped to my back pocket, I'm thinking of getting a NYLON BELT HOLSTER.

My EDC lights include the E2, E2e and the L4.

Any suggestions for a quality Nylon Belt Holster to carry my Surefire EDC's (that would properly fit the Surefire E2, E2e and L4 WITHOUT removing the Surefire pocket clips).

Please provide any links to these nylon holsters.

Thanks.

Hmmm...maybe a Surefire nylon belt holster? I have one for my 6R (and the one for the 6P) and I like it a lot. Nice spring steel clip...works very well...

Well great...every time I try to edit my post, the browser locks up on me. So that's why I'm replying to myself here...

I also have a Tactical Tailor holster, but it isn't nearly as substantial as the Surefire ones...the SF ones have double-ply nylon for the flap and the TT one is single-ply. I also have a horizontal holster by Blackhawk that can carry spare batteries alon with my M2. I'll post a link soon, if the software will allow me to do so this time...I have not seen the Surefire holsters for your models up close before...just the ones for the 6R and 6P...so cannot verify if it has similar construction.

Blackhawk...fairly well-made...

Thanks for the info.

I prefer a flashlight holster WITHOUT the "spring clip."

Reason?

I have had phone and knife holsters with the spring clip attachment, and they sometimes tend to "UN-clip" off my belt.

I'm looking for a quality Surefire nylon holster with a "belt loop" attachment instead of a spring clip.

Again, I attempted to quote the reply and again the forum software crashed my browser. This is getting really, really old.

Surefire has fixed beltloop holsters...the one for the e2 uses Velcro...

Surefire one for the L4:
Fixed beltloop:

Quick detach (with Velcro...same type as for the e2):

The Tactical Tailor one uses a MALICE clip and the Blackhawk one uses hook-pile tape fastener...no spring clips there...

The Surefire one is probably best...

The Surefire V20, V21, or V82 Belt holsters are your best bets. The V82 is specifically specified as the E2 size holster. The V20 and V21 are for 6P sized flashlights, but my E2L (in black anodized  ) fits snugly in the holster without any movement. The larger flashlights kind of "stretch" it. Surefire nylon holsters are extremely well made. All three have a belt loop. The V21 uses two flaps that secure with velcro to wrap around the belt while the V20 and V82 have sewn loops in them.

Hey guys...if there is any room here for my opinion...I think the v20 isn't that nice. I've had one. Go either for maxpedition single sheath for the 6p, or go with blackhawk. They are far better than surefire's nylon holsters. The 4" sheath from maxpedition will accomodate the u2 as well as the 6p but the single will not. (not sure now if it is the 4" or another...but anyway). Stay away from the polymer holsters as they will eat up the finish on the tailcap. Blackhawk or maxpedition make excellent holsters. Also, for a more classy look in plain clothes on the street (not the field) Mitch Rosen of mitch rosen gunleather does some excellent leather holsters for the 6p line or anything similar. Great for concealment as well. www.mitchrosengunleather.com

these look ok, and don't take offence but they also look generic and economic. Depending on how much they sell for, I personally feel it is better to spend a couple more dollars and get something not only nicer, but more rugged and durable. Check out this link: http://www.maxpedition.com/product/catalog_sheath.htm I actually have the 4" tube sheath... not a high price to pay...and this one IS rugged.

Sorry about that everyone...thanks jumpmaster. I've bought stuff from Mitch before (not to mention have looked at the site regularly...)and I should have known better. Brain freeze I guess. Anyway, I presently have one of his leather holsters I bought from a police officer and for $60.00 it's really nice for the 6P. The maxpedition is an excellent choice for field use though.

I own an L4 and an E2e.

For both I use SOEgear.com holsters.

For the L4 I use the A2p pouch and for the E2e I use the E2p Pouch.

I hope that helps.

Just got my L2 - it's great. But... no holster!

So, sorry my trusty Inova X0 - yours is just the right size...

(will send pic when time allows)
