Sry If im bringing this up again but its hard to find an answer to this question. Does anyone know of a circuit booster/regulator that will drive 3 CREE X-Lamps in paralell configuration.

CREE Specs:
3 watt (run in paralell will be 9 watts)
80 lumens
4.5 max voltage.

Hi - Driving a Cree is more or less the same as driving a Lux III. In series, life is a lot easier, because you only have 1000ma max current to deal with (Vout) and there is no need to worry about the LED to LED Vf variation.

In the case of putting them in series, a circuit such as a taskled.com fatman driver would work, or comparable part from the Shoppe.

In parallel, you are at nearly 3 amps out, which needs big coils to work. I think georges80 is working on such a beast (pics have been shown) but I think availability is limited. Send him a note.
