Real Nuwai or not??

Has anyone here purchased a genuine Nuwai Q3 with this etched on the belt clip "3W Viki"? I bought this light on E-Bay and the packaging looked correct and the pricing was reasonable ($29). BUT all the reviews and pictures I have seen have significantly different logos on the belt clip. So, did I get a genuine Nuwai or an even "cheaper" substitute???

I would say not. Mine actually says, "Nuwai 3 watt LED" on the clip.

They look authentic. Maybe they are over run's from custom engraving order or type o's.

It still looks like a nice light anyway no matter what it is.

I am not unhappy with the light. Just curious as to its origin. It has a nice beam and falls inbetween my L2 on low and my T3 (much closer to the T3) This will become my new glovebox light. I will probably buy a genuine Nuwai for comparison. more info to follow....

The one thing I will say about these lights is that the DON'T have the flicker in the tail cap I have read about. Click on, click off. Push in part way (while on) to flash. No flickers in the action.

the q3 3w is as bright as 1w of some famous brand .

i got a Q3 with a '3W Viki' mark on the clip... looks identical to other Q3's...

I think that Viki may just be the name that the CPFer and dealer called
Litemania (Warren) uses on the clips (although I may be mistaken).

I got a Q3 directly from him with this on my clip, and he also kindly upgraded
the luxeon to a TXOK - with a rechargeable it is now as bright as any of
my 3W lights (and I mean any!)

Everything else about the light is exactly the same as my other Nuwai
Q3s, so I presume your light is genuine.

I believe Nuwai is a distributer, not the manufacturer. The flashlights are sold under many brand names. In Canada THE SOURCE by CIRCUIT CITY sells them under the NEXXTECH brand.
