I have been using Battery Station rechargables in my early model TL2 LED for the past couple of months without any problem. The beam is brighter compared to using primary cr123. Tonight, I swapped the 5W bulb from my TL3 LED light and WHOA!!!, the light is now much brighter. So now I have a 2L 5W light in a very small package using rechargables. I put the 1W bulb in the TL3 and use it to run down my collection of depleted cr123 batteries that would not drive a TL2, it works.
BTW, my new 2L 5W light is brighter than my EDC B60GT and not that much bigger.
