For night flying in the cockpit, I need to clip a torch onto my kneeboard to illuminate my instrument approach charts. It must be RED light to preserve my night vision, and it must have a flexible neck.
I really wanted to buy a LED Lenser...but their flexible neck torches are not made with red light. Would a LED light be too bright? What sort of wattage would give just the right amount of illumination?
Please can someone suggest some other brands? I'm a quality nut, and only really like top quality stuff!!!
