With some of the parts I had on hand, I was messing around last night and tried the Scorpion head on an Aleph 1x123 body...as you can see, it fits and it does work but dimly. A 1x123 cell obviously doesn't bring the same brightness as a 2x123.
The McGizmo Aleph line is SF E series compatible so I am deducing that a KL1 head is a possibility on the Scorpion body. If anyone has this combo and would like to verify... Granted you could just buy a Scorpion LED version but this I thought might be fun.
