At least I better until next payday which is in 2 weeks! :awman:

Just bought a U60XRGT from lighthound today. I was just going to go for the B60LE but decided to bite the bullet and go for the gold. I can't wait to get it, maybe it will help subside the hunger pains. :)

Dude, I am in the same boat...I went a little in the red after this month, since I got myself a Springfield and already spent 350 on ammo(1700 rounds of it, already shot 400 of it), so my dream of a U85 is once again delayed...but damn the feeling of recoil is addicting....that means I need to buy a Ruger 22/45 for plinking so I don't have to buy so many rounds of 45, but man, isn't taht where the cycle started? I boght my first G2 with 2 boxes of battery, and then I wanted something that runs longer like a E2o, and then that extended to LED while I told myself that I'll save money in the long run(man iwas in denial). and now I have a room full of lights...sigh...

Mmmmm, 10mm 180gr. Shweeeet.

But for recoil, it's a pussycat compared to a .44 Mag 240 grain full-house load at 1000 fpe. The 10mm load is only about 600 fpe or so.

And that just covers the 'normal' rounds, not even going to get into hand-cannons. Nope, not going to get into the JDJ stuff, or the 30-30 Contender, or the .308, or the .45-70, or ....

:grin2:

Ah, I was wondering when someone would bring out the bug guns.... ;)

well, the 45 ain't far behind at 230 grain ball ammo at 850ish feet per second, but compared to the price of 44 ammo the 45 is a down right bargin....

.45 ACP, 230 gr with ~6gr powder charge at 850 fps in a 2.5 lb gun = 6.1 ft-lb recoil energy (368 ft-lb muzzle energy)

.44 Mag, 240 gr with ~24 gr powder charge at 1470 fps in a 2.5 lb gun = 25.5 ft-lb recoil energy (1150 ft-lb muzzle energy)

10mm, 200 gr with ~14 gr powder charge at 1200 fps in a 2.5 lb gun = 11.1 ft-lb recoil energy (638 ft-lb muzzle energy)

All fun, in different ways and for different purposes. :grin2:
