Lux III Mod for SF E2D??

Is there a drop in Lux III LED/sandwich for a Surefire E2D? I've been too busy lately to be on CPF much so I'm hoping this is not a dumb question. I'd like to be able to keep the existing bezel but convert it to a bright LED package. I seem to remember seeing something like this for the 6P and some other SF's.

Don't think sucha thing exists..yet..but someone has done a mod using a modified e can from mcgizmo

Before Katrina hit Chop (Tony) was doing a mod where he'd bore out the reflector and chase the threads so that an Aleph "light engine" (from McGizmo) could fit in there. I don't know if he's recovered from the hurricane, but that would be a great way to get a Lux3 into an E2D.

Cool - thanks guys - it looks like Don M. has done what I want to do with mine. It does look like that mod takes more talent than I've got though.
