Thanks guys, does that mean its Surefires most powerful Luxeon light? since U2 is 80lumens, l4,l5,l6 are 65lumens.
As the others said, while the L2 Quickbeam tested had great output, you can't conclude it's the most powerful.
E.g the U2 is advertised at 80 lumens in some places, 100 in others. I'm confident my U2 is AT LEAST 100 lumens, based on measuring ceiling reflected light with my lux meter and comparing it to my HDS U60 which has a calibrated 60 lumens output.
It's important not to over emphasize output numbers. Mathemetical differences in output (even if 25%) aren't very apparent to the eye. You've got to reach about 40% difference to be really apparent to the eye.
Place greater emphasis on physical size, switch type, beam pattern, run time, variable output control, etc, and which of these are most important to you.
