Photon micro light 3 VS Photon Freedom

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if any one has had the chance to use/try out the photon freedom? If so how does it compare to the phton micro light 3? It seems to have similar features to the micro 3 but the website really doesn't explain itself that well. I've always been a fan of the micro 3 so just wondering what people think of the newbie? Is it better? Brighter? simpler? more functions? Any hope some 1 can give me their hands on opinion. Thanks, catch you soon.

The Freedom is brighter and simpler. I am not sure whether or not is has more functions. You press and release for constant on at the brightest level. Press and release again for off, or press and hold for dimming. From off, you can press and hold for constant on starting from the dimmest level and ramping up. Or you can easily set it to momentary. It is very simple compared the the '3'.

I EDC a Freedom in my jacket pocket as a backup to my McGizmo PD. LRI makes very good products.
