Currently, custom LED lights for sale outnumber custom incandescents by more than 20 to 1. What's going on? Are custom incandescent owners more likely to hold on to what they have?

if i had to have a theory.. it would go like this:
1) custom incan are easier to DIY
2) custom incan much less expensive per lumen
3) custom incan often can use stock batteries.
All those wrap into that you will not likely recover money spent reselling an incan, and even if you loose money selling a high-end custom led light... the base cost is high enough you can collect cash, maybe to build a nice hotwire
