I just put on order two cool white surface mount Nichia Jupiter series LED's. However I have never seen one run. Just by looking at the specs sheet I was impressed and can't wait to power them up, but I was wondering how enthusiastic I should be??
And another question about heat dissipation...
I think I saw in there drawing a small heat sink on one edge of the LED, will that provide substantial heat dissipation if I want to run the LED suspended in the air?
