Newbie flashaholic - since a month ago ....
First foursevens group buy - four L1P 2.5s;
then the RR craze - 5 headlamps, 4 2AAAs, 3 4AA lamps, & 1 2AA;
then Costco 1.0M & 1.5M cp torches;
then FLRs 5 star review SL 4AA Luxeon - four;
next, looking for a torch.... likely Pentagon light 2 or 3 ...
what have you fanatics gotten me into ???
and that 1kw arc-xenon is way cool ! :huh:

How to Pronounce Fenix???
Every time I see a post or ad for Fenix, I wonder how it's pronounced. Just by looking at the word, I want to say Fen-icks, but perhaps its FEEN-icks....like the Phoenix...the bird, the airplane, the city.
So which is it? I'm just curious.

Interesting question. But who cares? Its ability to make a good quality flashlight is more important.
Anyway, personally I'd go with "fen-niks."

While we're kicking this around, how do you pronounce "INOVA"?
I've always said "EYE-NO'-VAH"
But I've heard it "IN'-NO-VAH"

Inova is pronounced like "In-no-va" IMO, like the 'innov' part of 'innovation'.
I would agree that 'Fenix' is pronounced like "Phoenix" as well!
