Some months back I was considering the purchase of a Nightcutter CSI5 UV flashlight. Naturally, I waited too long and they are no longer available. I would be interested in opinions as to the heir apparent to this fine light. I have a Photon Microlight UV (370 nm) which does a great job; even lights up the security stripe on a $100 bill which I understand from this forum is a bit of a challenge.

I am looking for something in the 375 nm range for general purpose use. Somthing bigger than the Photon but not as huge as the fine instruments offered by Xenopus.

TIA,

Ken

Well, if you could either build or comission a light to be built with UV LEDs. I have an UV XNova but it was built with 390nm LEDs. I've never tried lighting up a $100 but it does a very good job around the garage and under the sink and on credit cards. I'd imagine one could easily be built with any nm of LEDs.
