Ebay Arc AAA clone beamshots with 35kmcd mod

Here are a few pics of a recent mod. This light really isn't that hard to mod.
I did have to put some teflon tape around the threads on the head to stiffen it up. It was a little too wobbly for my taste.

Any reason why people are preffering the 35k led to the Nichia CS other than color? And what is the durability of the 35k's, I know theres a thread with burn-ins but I don't remember seeing the 35k on there.

The 35k leds have a much tighter beam than the Nichias I have. I like the wider beam and overdriving durability of the Nichia leds myself.

The Nichia will outlast the 35k when over driven in lights like these do.
